Access works to Luggie's Knowe nearing completion
Shetland firm Garriock Bros Ltd have formed the access road up to the Luggie's Knowe wind turbine site and work will now begin to excavate the turbine foundation. The access works have been overseen by Headland Archaeology and Northern Ecology Services with Green Cat Renewables project managing. Shetland Aerogenerators Ltd's new 3MW Enercon turbine (E82-E4) is due to arrive in Shetland in June for erection when weather allows.
