Shetland Aerogenerators is delighted to share that Project Manager Lauren Anderson has been awarded the Personal Improvement Award at this year's Scottish Renewables Young Professionals Green Energy Awards.
ReadLocal energy company Shetland Aerogenerators Ltd has submitted a planning application to the Shetland Islands Council. Shetland Aerogenerators is also exploring routing community benefit payments from the development into schemes such as Hjaltland Housing Association’s existing Fuel Vouchers scheme, which will help some people experiencing fuel poverty to pay their energy bills.

We were initially established to investigate new opportunities in wind power after the Government announced the Scottish Renewables Obligation.
Now we undertake selective development of our own wind energy projects and we support the concept of large scale wind energy advancement in Shetland.
